Beyond Our Walls

We are committed to living generously beyond our walls.

For the last six years, St. Thomas, supported by Montview Presbyterian, Park Hill Congregational, and St. Ambrose, Boulder, has hosted temporarily homeless families through Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN). The dates for 2010 IHN sessions at St. Thomas are February 28 - March 7, May 30 - June 6, August 15-22, and October 24-31. We are actively involved with the Colorado-Haiti Project. We support the project by donating supplies, by our prayers, and our monetary donations. Some of our members go to Haiti on medical and other missions. Click here for a link to the daily journal of the January 2009 Colorado Haiti Project Medical Mission.

St. Thomas has been offering a free English as a Second Language (ESL) course since early 2009. Classes meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm; beginning level through advanced with citizenship classes upon request.

We have members who are regular volunteers at the St. Francis Center, an Episcopal ministry with people who are without homes.
