
Priest-In-Charge St. Thomas Parish
is pleased to welcome The Reverend Ruth Woodliff-Stanley, who assumes our
leading role Sunday, May 13, 2007. Rev. Ruth is no stranger to our
group--she served as an Associate Priest here when she and her family
first came to Denver in the summer of 2002.
Hailing from Mississippi, Rev. Ruth obtained her undergraduate degree from
Swarthmore College in
Pennsylvania and then studied at Yale Divinity School in Connecticut and the Columbia
School of Social Work in New York.
Also in Denver, as a licensed clinical social worker, she
has participated in mediation and consultative services for other churches within
our Diocese and has a small private therapy practice.
Rev. Ruth has been married for twenty years to The Reverend Nathan Woodliff-
Stanley, the Minister for Social Responsibility at Jefferson Unitarian
Church in Golden, Colorado. The couple have two children.
